Sanitary: plan for service access

Concealed cisterns and traps need access for repairs. If access panels are ignored, you’ll break tiles later to fix simple issues.

Note: guidance is general. On-site conditions can change the right choice. Use this as a checklist, not a substitute for an engineer/contractor.

What to ask

  • Ask where the access panel will be and how it will look post-finish.

Red flags

  • !Installer says “no access needed” for concealed systems.
