Tiles
Slip resistance is area-dependent
Wet floors need grip, but very high-grip surfaces can feel rough barefoot and are harder to clean. Choose per room, not by salesman claims.
Note: guidance is general. On-site conditions can change the right choice. Use this as a checklist, not a substitute for an engineer/contractor.
What to ask
- •Ask for the slip rating (and where it applies: dry vs wet).
- •Ask for a sample tile and test barefoot feel + cleaning effort.
Red flags
- !Seller refuses to share the slip rating or says it “doesn’t matter”.
