Wet areas need correct sequencing

Bathroom/terrace failures often come from poor slope planning and rushed waterproofing steps. If sequencing is wrong, fixing later is expensive.

Note: guidance is general. On-site conditions can change the right choice. Use this as a checklist, not a substitute for an engineer/contractor.

What to ask

  • Ask how slope and waterproofing will be handled before tiling.
  • Ask curing/drying time assumptions (don’t rush schedules).

Red flags

  • !“We’ll waterproof after tiling” or “no need for slope planning”.
